SLAMicide will now be held on Sundays!  This means no more rushing home from work to get changed into your poetry slam outfit!  Now, you can lounge around all day and start your week off right!

In addition to the new location and day, we'll also be starting earlier, so you won't have to worry about being out too late on a work night!  Signups will start at 6:00 and the open mic will start at 6:30.

Hey. Here's the bio and picture. Sorry it took so long. I only have internet at work, and generally, during work... I work. So this is the only picture I had of myself at work that wasn't surrounded by a ton of kids. Sorry Arianne Benford and Tristan Silverman are in it, if you need their names. Or maybe you can just put, "Maria Del Naja, center."

"Maria Del Naja entered into an unhealthy co-dependant relationship with Poetry at age 14, when Hormones and Angst invited it over, looking for a good time. It was an invitation Poetry came to regret. Maria became aware the the relationship was "for keeps" when, in retaliation for being worked over by Hormones and Angst, poetry nearly got Maria kicked out of Catholic High School. Maria learned that Catholic High Schools penalize authors for their references to lesbian oral sex, even if Poetry, Hormones, and Angst are the true culprits. She thanks Poetry for the lesson. She doesn't write gay stuff any more. The nuns beat it out of her."

This December, in Charlotte, NC, the Individual World Poetry Slam will be held, and we're sending a representative!!

Theme slams are held the final show of the month, except in special circumstances.

New Venue
That's right, after 6 glorious months in Baltimore's Historic Fell's Point, we're on our way back north to Charles Village.  We've relocated to DEN Lounge- 3327 St. Paul St. @ 34th, where we'll be starting back up on 6 July!
