About our List Servers

MDmall.com's List servers are the fast, efficient way to Maintain Mailing list on the Web.

Most list servers require you to go to a website and go through a lengthy sign-in process to send a message, and require your users go to a website to add or remove themselves from your list- something which is time consuming, if they even have access to the internet at all. (Juno members you're saved! You can use our list servers and never again have to waste money on an internet account just to send mailing list messages.)

Unlike those list servers, ours feature a fully functional e-mail interface, meaning you never have to go to a webpage to do anything! If one someone wants to sign up, all they have to do is send a message to your list server address (i.e. yourcompany@MDmall.com) with "add" in the subject.
if they want to be removed, they just have to send you a message with "remove" in the subject. It's that simple

All this sounds great for your users, but what about you? If you want to send a message to the mailing list what do you have to do? All you have to do is send a message to your list server address with three lines of text in the begining... it's that simple. I know what you are thinking, they are going to be some arcane commands that are case sensitive and you have to type them exactly right or it won't work. You're wrong. the three lines are:

command: send
user: your username
Password: Your Password

That's it! This is all non-case sensitive. There is no way you can screw it up, no experiance with list servers is needed to get started. All you need is an e-mail address and something to say and you can start sending messages to your group and not have to worry about removing people or adding them to an address book or a list on your computer, it's all done for you automatically.

Of course this is only the absolute minimum you need to send a message to the list. They are plenty more commands at your finger tips that you can use. Like the "skip:" command which will skip an e-mail address in the list. And you can even set skip to auto, which will automatically scan the headers in the e-mail for previous recipients, and if it finds them it won't send them a copy if they are part of your list (this is increadbly useful if you forward e-mails to your list that you might have gotten from one of your list members)
